Today, Wheatstone Ministries and William Jessup University announce a new partnership bringing Wheatstone’s life-changing Camp to northern California for the first time.
Dr. John Jackson, President of William Jessup University, said, “I’m thrilled to bring Wheatstone’s innovative camp to northern California, extending our mission to educate transformational leaders for the glory of God.”
The Academy Camp, by Wheatstone Ministries, has invited youth into Christian adulthood since 2000 through a powerful week-long rite of passage with discussion, exploration, holiness, and prayer. Through personal mentoring, small group communities, scholarly teaching, arts immersion, spiritual disciplines, encounters with the Bible, and experiences of the sublime, it helps youth desire and pursue maturity.
Wheatstone Ministry’s Executive Director, Peter David Gross said, “William Jessup University’s focus on small class sizes, strong student-teacher relationships, deep community, and Christian integration —as well as its exceptional fine arts programs— make it a natural partner for Wheatstone. I’m excited to bring students from northern California and beyond onto its campus for a beautiful, challenging call into Christian adulthood.”
The Academy at William Jessup University will take place on campus in Rocklin, CA from June 23-29, 2019. Registration opens November 1, 2018 at christianadulthood.org/camp.
